Our Concert/Ceilidh on 3rd March 2007 was a huge success - here's a shot of the formal part of the concert (click on the image to see a larger version).

Here are the oldies doing their thing.

The Fiddlers were joined by some of the 'Fisherman's Friends' for the ceilidh. Many thanks to Graeme Robertson, Peter Gilmour, Doug Law, Cath Black and Gregor (sorry, didn't catch your surname!).

On the 18th March, we played a concert in the Birnam House Hotel as part of the Neil Gow Festival. Thanks to Pete Clark for inviting us.

Over the weekend of 23/24/25 March, some of us headed for the hills for a weekend of workshops, outdoor fun and general mayhem at the Highland Adventure Centre, Knockshannoch, Glen Isla.

This remarkable circular house was built as a hunting lodge in 1888 but is now superbly run by Sue and Jim Muir as a residential outdoor recreation centre. Visit their website here.

We had two professional tutors, Allan Henderson of fiddle supergroup 'Blazin' Fiddles'- seen here seated on the left . . .

. . . and Patsy Reid - virtuoso traditional fiddler and cellist who is also a former leader of the Tayside Young Fiddlers. Patsy is seated on the right.

Concentrating hard in the classroom . . .

. . . and all coming together for a final concert on the Sunday afternoon.

But, it wasn't all work, work, work. Here's Jim giving some of the youngsters (they're the ones without the Hibs scarf) a safety briefing before starting outdoor activities.

All the activities were overseen by qualified instructors.

Gentle cajoling helped some people get over their fear of heights . . .

. . . while some were just happy to hang around.

Looks like this lot are getting a little tyred here.

A welcome seat in the sun between team-buliding exercises.

Team-building, bridge building - we did it all.

Eating was high on the list of favourite activities and the food was superb and plentiful. This is Saturday lunch.

The 'Animal Game' brought everyone to their knees.
